Hello.
The 2 or 3 of you who read this blog will see a slow-down in posting. I just launched my new site Nerdy Nothings.
I will be spending a lot of my time posting there. So, come take a look!

The grossest and funniest thing you will see all day.

(man comes out of toilet and washes his hands in the urinal).
girl is like wow wtf and says: can i ask u something? just for the record. is this a piss bucket? man in red: yes. blonde chick again: what did we just film? im speechless, that man was washing his hands in a pissbucket

I haven’t watched the trailer yet, because no movie can live up to this poster! Flying Judo Kicks and Double Barrels! the expression on Will Ferrell’s face is classic. He’s been in a slump lately, but I know he can rebound.

One of the most anticipated summer movies of 2010 and this is the best they can come up with for the final poster? How long did take the designer slap this together? If it was more than fifteen seconds, he took too long.
I shouldn’t be too hard on the designer. It’s more than likely he had about 15 other more vibrant, exciting, fresh and creative ideas that were all shot down by some Hollywood Exec who has become less about new and more about rehashing the old. Movie exec: “We need a new poster. Bobby, churn out some floating heads on a bland background for the new Summer Blockbuster.” “sure thing, boss.”
Ugh.

This poster is near the top on my recent favorites list. I love the logo and the way it spills out of the guitar. Sketchy fonts and notebooky design is “in” right now, but this works better than most and doesn’t come off cliché.
I haven’t read the books yet, but my girlfriend is a fan (the most understated use of the word fan in the history of the word fan), so she keeps me well-informed. It looks like from the trailer the movie is going to be an effin’ carnival ride. And i’m psyched for it.
Sidenote: There is no way that jobless canuck could afford that guitar!

I remember sneaking into the first Predator movie when i was 11 years old. It scared the shit out of me. I haven’t cared about a predator or AVP movie since, but this looks B-A.
